Excellent liner leggings. Great fit!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I live in Vermont. Got a pair of the lined, windproof leggings but they are nowhere near warm enough to be worn on a day outside below 20 degrees and the waistband is useless. So I got these wool liners and I LOVE them. Will wear under the windproof leggings for cold days. The color (blue) is lovely and they don't slide down my body.

Sheer with a squat
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
A lightweight base layer. Does it's job under pants but it's too sheer to walk around by itself.

Comfortable.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently bought theses base layer bottom as my sleep wear on a 2 night backpack. So glad I did. The nighttime temperature dropped into the teens. My legs stayed warm.

Great way to keep my bottom half warm
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've taken my base layer bottomw out on two blustery, cold hikes now, and they've done an excellent job of protecting me and keeping me warm without making me feel clumsy or bulky. I love the color, (fox) too! These are so comfortable, I might just turn down the thermostat at home and wear them all the time.

I would not buy these again due to short rise
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the rise is never long enough on the base layer and do not like the way it looks in the crotch area to wear these around the house as jammies

Keeps you warm but not my favorite of Smartwool's
These were gifted to me by Smartwool and I wanted to make sure I got a long season of use before leaving a review. This is my second pair of baselayer bottoms from Smartwool and honestly they aren't my favorite pair. They stretched out pretty quickly and didn't go back to the original size. I'd say they relaxed/stretched about 1/3-1/2 a size. They ran a little roomier than I originally had hoped too. So with the stretch and the running a little big they got to be too big by day 2. I can shrink them in the dryer but they go back to being too big after a night/day of use. I primarily used these for camping and backpacking to sleep in since I got them for the summer. They kept me warm down to the low 40s/upper 30s inside my sleeping bag. As for their comfort, they aren't the softest base layers I own but they also aren't uncomfortable. The fabric is thin though and you can see skin through it. Don't expect a solid legging. I'm in between yes and no on recommending them. They do their job well but they do stretch out. If you keep the stretching in mind, they're a solid choice (size down). But if you're comparing these to another bottom from a different Smartwool line, I'd probably go with the others.
